Since moving to Canada from Hong Kong in 1992, Victor Cheung has gained a wealth of knowledge, education and real-life experiences having lived in and being educated in both the East and West coasts of Canada. Earning an Economics degree and a diploma in Business Administration has created a foundation for his vast business knowledge and ignited his entrepreneurial spirit. For him, education and personal development is an endless journey.
Throughout his career, Victor has been worked in the hospitality, automotive and finance industries. These businesses followed a variety of business models – from entrepreneurship to small business to global/corporate. Working in different fields helped him develop an extensive set of skills, all necessary for a successful REALTOR® - including sales, negotiation, research and analysis. Managing multi-million dollar accounts as a credit analyst for a financial company was both a great learning experience and very transferable to real estate.
A Vancouver resident for over 20 years, Victor has witnessed the incredible transformation that the real estate industry has undergone in Canada and in particular, the lower mainland. This includes incredible market growth, differing and sometimes volatile economic cycles as well as political changes, regulation and increased trends of foreign investment.
